Abstract
The nucleation mechanism and transformation kinetics of in situ TiB 2 particulate reinforced aluminum matrix composite were expounded. The formation mechanism of TiB 2 particulate was analyzed from the thermodynamics and kinetics points of view. The transformation kinetics
reacted wettability and reacted activation energy of TiB 2 particwlate were approached based on diffusion theory.
