Abstract

The specific pressure is one of the key factors influencing grain size in squeeze casting. The relationship of the grain size with the alloy phase diagram

thermo\|dynamics as well as kinetics was analyzed. Effects of the specific pressure on nucleation rate and linear growth velocity were expounded in squeeze casting. The specific pressure and other technical parameters for various part materials in squeeze casting were listed.
