The structural characteristics of inlet manifold with dispersive hotspot for Ford car were analyzed. Some practical experiences of technical design of the inlet manifold in permanent mold casting were presented. Aimed to shrinkage hole
shrinkage porosity
slag hole and gas hole generated in the production
the rational contro measures including smelting temperature
modification period
and pertinent casting operation
were drafted.
