Abstract

Two kinds of enhanced fast drying colloidal silica

FS Ⅲ and FS Ⅱ

were introduced and the drying period between dip coat can be reduced to 1～2 h

of which the shell drying rate and shell performance of FS Ⅲ were relatively excellent. The mechanism of fast enhancement of shell processing was discussed and the parameters of shell making and their application were presented.
