Effects of Ultrasonic Treatment for Al Melt on the Properties and Microstructure of Al Alloy
Effects of ultrasonic treatment for Al melt on microstructures and mechanical properties of 7055 Al alloy were investigated.Results showed that the activated microinclusive particulate in melt by ultrasonic cavitation can serve as the substrate for nucleation resulting in grain refinement and in turn improving greatly in tensile strength and plasticity.
