Abstract
Compared with conventional sol silicate
the rapidly dried sol silicate possesses the advantages of short shell-making period and high ambient strength as well as low residual strength.Large scale production from investment plants showed that shell mold is easily sand-cleaned and the casting demension meets the requirement of allowance
and the cost is slightly reduced using SKP-27 sol silicate instead of conventional sol silicate.Moreover
the dried time can be shortened up over 50% with proper wind speed and humidity in the dry workshop.
