Abstract

Correlating combustion synthesis with traditional weldi ng technology

the formation process of welding seam of 08Al steel/1Cr18Ni9 stai nless steel welded with joint materials of Ti Ni system was investigated. The p rocess of pressurized combustion synthesis of Ti Ni and the mechanism of its pr oduct formation

joint behavior between matrix and weld seam and fracture morpho logy of the seam were explored to develop a new preparation technique for cladding metal composites.
