solidification microstructure simulation of alloys has been greatly improved due to the development of computer technology and accurate modeling method
the space scale characteristics of the microstructure has limited the applicable range of various modeling method. The classical CA(cellar automation) model was modified by coupling CA theories with metal solidification theories. Compared to the classical CA model
the modified model can more accurately simulate the microstructure and morphology transformation of the grains taking account into the effects of solute redistribution and diffusion in the melt
interface anisotropy and unstituent and curvature undercoolings on the local undercooling of dendritic tip and interface equilibrium temperature.
