Effects of In Content on the Microstructure of Cu-Cr-In Ternary Alloy
The specimens of Cu\|Cr\|In ternary alloy with varying In contents were prepared by combined metal mold.The microstructure of the specimens were observed by electron probe and X ray diffraction.The effects of In contents on the microstructure of the alloy were examined.It is found that the dendrite in microstructure tended to increase with increasing in In contents.The dendrite secondary arm spacing increased with increased in In contents and the lattice constants of matrix crystal increase with the increase in contents due to formationg of replaced atom in matrix crystal for Cu solid solution phase.The phase constituent of the alloy is composed of Cu solid solution phase and Cu9In4 as well as Cr solid solution phase.
