Quasi one dimensional nanostructure materials,such as nanotubes,nanowires,nanostrip,etc.,being a burgeoning and intriguing research areas exhibited peculiar physical and chemical properties and potential application to nanodevice.The synthetic methods of quasi\|one\|dementional nano\|materials,including Vapor\|Liquid\|Solid（VLS）,Vapor\|Solid（VS）,Solution\|Liquid\|Solid（SLS）and porous Alumina Die etc,have been introduced.The forming and growth mechanism of various methods for quasi one dimensional nanostructural materials and their research trend have been reviewed.
