Abstract
The proper addition of Ce into Z-7 alloy can promote t he refinement of the microstructure and amplitude decomposition effectively so a s to significantly improve the toughness
damping property and wear resistance o f the Z-7 alloy. A new frontier for application of the Z-7 alloy was developed .
