Abstract
The predominant factors influencing the cost were raw materials through analyzing the cost of the compound shell mold for investment casting
so the Al
2
O
3
powder instead of ZrO
2
powder and SiO
2
sand instead of ZrO
2
sand were used for a compound shell mold.The comprehensive properties of the shell were improved and the cost was reduced by alternative stucco method based on analysis of the technology.Compared with the conventional technology
