In-situ Ti Alloying in Al Base Alloy and Grain Refinement
The electrolytic low Ti aluminum alloys containing 0.1%~0.3% Ti can be produced by adding trace TiO 2 powder into Al 2O 3. The aluminum ingot with 130 μm equiaxed grain can be obtained by in-situ Ti alloying in Al base alloy and self-grain refinement. The grain of 6063 wraught Al alloy made of the alloy can be refined from 4 grade to 1~2 grade.
