Abstract
The experience of cast Mg alloy in graphite green sand mold was summarized and its casting characteristics were analyzed. The properties and proportions of indivudual components in green sand were discribed. The results showed that the Mg alloy castings with good quality have been produced in the green sand composed of graphite sand
burning-resisting agent R-SO 4N 3 and boric acid H 3BO 3.
