Simulation of Consumable Electrode’s Melting Ratio in Electroslag Melting-Casting Process
Melting ratio of electrode and efficient power factor of the current under different electroslag melting-casting conditions were calculated by energy conservation law through coupling simulation of thermo-electric field in slag pool at high temperature. It is theoretically verified to increase effectively the electric energy’s efficiency and reduce the product cost by proper melting-casting current and shallow slag pool resulting in saving enegry and reducing consumption in pratical production.
