With the incremental comsumption for the magnesium alloy
the recycle of service parts and produced scraps as well as the microstructure and properties of remelting Mg alloy have been increasingly concerned.The impurity in the recycled Mg alloy
the microstructure and properties of the recycled alloy with different reclaimed scrap additions were researched.The results show that impurities are increased with the increase of Mg scraps ratio in the recycled Mg alloy.The impurities are composed of oxide of Mg and a little of oxide of aluminum acompanying with gas-hole.The mechanical properties and corrosion resistance are decreased with the increase of the reclaimed scraps ratio in the recycled Mg alloy.The as-cast recycled Mg alloy should be refined to control the impurity to a certain range.The structure heredity phenomenon obviously exists in the recycled Mg alloy.A disirable effect can be obtained through the gas-browing equipment refining the recycled Mg alloy.
