Abstract
Vermicular graphite cast iron exhaust pipe in lost foam casting was introduced. The experiment shows that using reverse ingate combined with side-gating system is beneficial to manufacturing the pipe with every assemble set eight parts. Coating has obvious effects on the carburization and ripples of parts surface. The exhaust pipe in lost foam casting with uniform thickness and smooth surface can meet the requirements in material performance and microstructure
having been used for some type of HongQi Car.
