Abstract

Particulate reinforced metal matrix composites （PRMMCs） have superior comprehensive mechanical properties,and are widely applied in aeronautical engineering,military and automobile industries.Great attentions have been paid to the investigation of the man-ufacturing of PRMMCs by the spray forming in recent years.It was indicated that the spray formed metal matrix composites have a dense microstructure and excellent mechanical properties.The present status and future tendency of the spray foring for PRMMCs were introduced.

Abstract
