Effects of Atomization Parameters on the Powder Granularity and Distribution of H70 Brass
The production of metal powder by gas atomization is complicated
whose process was influenced by many factors.Effects of pressure and temperature on the powder granularity and distribution of H70 brass were analyzed based on gas kinetics and hydrodynamics.Results showed that powder granularity can be increased with the increase of the gas pressure and melt temperature.The optimized powder granularity and distribution effects can be obtained with melt temperature of 1 160 ℃ and atomized pressure of 1.3 MPa.
