Relationship between Properties and Solid Fraction in Steel-mushy QTi3.5-3.5 Graphite by Pressure Bonding
In order to develop a high temperature steel-backed bearing materials
the steel-QTi3.5-3.5 graphite bonding plate was prepared by semi-solid pressing bonding method.The relationship between mechanical properties of bonding plate interface and solid fraction of QTi3.5-3.5 graphite slurry can be derived by examining the pressure bonding behavior between steel plate and QTi3.5-3.5 graphite slurry
having determined the structure constituent of the bonding interface.The results show that under the conditions of preheated temperature at 620 ℃ for steel plat
and preheated temperature at 530 ℃ for the die
pressure at 50 MPa and holding pressure time for 2 min
when the solid fraction of QTi3.5-3.5 graphite slurry is lower than (45.8%
)the shearing strength of bonding plat interface increase with solid fraction increase while decrease with solid fraction increase when the solid fraction is higher 45.8%.When the solid fraction is 45.8%
the highest shearing strength of bonding plate can be obtained
correspondingly
there no bonding defects in the interface
forming the metallurgical bonding structure composed of Fe-Cu inter-diffusion zone.
