Comparative Study on the Structure Evolution of ZL109 Alloy and 7050 Alloy in the Semisolid Forging Process
The structure evolution of ZL109 alloy and 7050 alloy was studied during the process of preparing the raw billet by low super heat casting
remelting
semisolid forming and heat treatment. The thin and symmetrical structure were obtained by using low super heat casting process. The eutectic that lied inside the raw billet of ZL109 alloy melted and came into being liquid phase in the process of remelting
but to the 7050 alloy
the structure of intergranular was fist melted that made grain more uniform and smooth. In the process of semisolid forming
the first αphase and eutectic inside the ZL109 alloy were separated partly and the grain inside the 7050 alloy was drew out along the way of the stress. After heat treated
the sohericity Si phase inside the ZL109 alloy diffused equably in the firstαphase
but to the 7050 alloy
the βphase was discovered in the intergranular and the grain was no longer smoothly like before.
