Abstract
An equivalent hot spot design method for riser was designed through application of equivalent hot spot in riser design.The diameters of riser outlet
diameter of riser
riser volume and riser height for gating system can be calculated based on the table of simplified castings sectional area from equivalent riser diameter.The equivalent hot spot method for riser design has the advantages of direct visual and simple calculation.
