    Abstract

Effects of electropluse and direct current on supercooling of the Wood′s alloy were examined based on the some popular electromagnetic field theories. The results show that electro-pulse can reduce the supercooling of the Wood′s alloy, while direct current has alternative effects on the supercooling, which can increase the supercooling with low direct current, and reduce supercooling with high direct current. All the experimental results are relative to the selected material, and applied electric parameters have applicable scope.
