CuAlNi shape memory alloy with column crystal was fabricated by heat mould continuous casting in order to improve the properties of the alloy by altering its structure constituent. Effects of column crystal on the properties of the CuAlNi shape memory alloy and the mechanism of the alloy property improvement were investigated. The experimental results reveal that the heat mould continuous casting can produce successfully the CuAlNi shape memory alloy with column crystal
which proposes an excellent method for industrial production.
