The spot-welding electrode has been made of prepared 0.6Al
2
O
3
/Cu composites by internal oxidation
and its installment experiment and microstructure analysis have been conducted. Nano-fined Al
2
O
3
particle in the composites can be uniformly distributed into the Cu matrix. The spot-welding electrode made by the composites has the advantages of high plastic deformation resistance
excellent corrosion resistant and high recrystallization temperature as well as excellent adhesive resistant due to the high hardness and good thermal-stability and chemo-stability
whose service life is 3

times higher than that of the Cu-Cr-Zr electrode.
