Preparation of Hydroxyapatite-titanium Nano-composites Powder by Mechanical Milling and its Microstructure
Nano-hydroxyapatite-titanium(nHA-Ti)composite powder was prepared by mechanical milling in alcohol media.Phase constituent and microstructure of the composite powder during mechanical milling have been observed by XRD(X-ray diffusion)
SEM(scanning electron microscope)and EDS(X-ray energy dispersive spectrometer)
and homogeneity of the composite powder has been analyzed by EPMA(electron probe X-Ray microanalysis).The results show that the powders of Ti/HA are fined to a nano-scale with increasing in milling time.The nano-composite powders with fine structure has been prepared
in which the nHA particles embedded in the larger Ti particle
after milling for 30 min with the wet-milling.Furthermore
it can be found that the nHA would be distributed more homogeneously.
