Abstract
In this paper
the mold design and the casting defects and corresponding resolving method of large-size aluminum alloy cylinder made by low-pressure casting are studied analyzed.It is shown that the casting microstructure is fine and the mechanical property meets the product requirement (σb≥294 MPa
δ≥5%
HB≥100) under the condition of 0.03~0.04 MPa filling pressure and 20~25 s filling time.
