    Abstract

    The morphology and microstructure of powder prepared by spray forming have been observed by SEM（scanning electron microscope）and OM（optical microscope）.Observation reveals that the particle in sprayed powder is spherical or near-spherical with uniform distribution,moreover,the smaller the particle size is,the more spherical the morphology is.Major particles are formed by heterogeneous nucleation and the minor particles are formed by homogeneous nucleation.In addition,the microstructure of sprayed powder is dendritic structure.
