Abstract
The design of mould structure of a conductive aluminum alloy castings in low pressure casting was described
and its processing parameters was determined also.Selection of parting face and adjustment of wall-thickness of the castings was taken into account in the mould design.Smooth filling and better feeding effects can be realized by using side-pouring gating system with double layer runner.The produced castings can meet requirements both in air tightness and in conductivity.
