The Bottleneck of Industrialization for Aluminum Foam-Vesicant
Aluminum foam is a kind of ideal environmental protection material
which is not only light weight
energy absorbing
incombustible
innocently
corrosion protection and resisting high temperature
but also have good sound absorbing and insulating properties
exhibit a reduced conductivity for both heat and electricity. Furthermore
they can be integrated recycled. These significant advantages make aluminum foam apply in many fields. The vesicant for manufacturing aluminum foam which is the most important in all technology is so expensive that the price of aluminum foam is too expensive to apply in more extensive areas. Hence
the development of lower cost and high efficiency vesicant is the bottleneck of industrialization for aluminum foam.
