Aiming at warping distortion of TC11 Ti alloy blade during hot working process
the isothermal adjustment method was used to relief the warping distortion to improve the microstructure and mechanical properties of the blade by reducing the residual stress
realizing the qualification of the blade dimension. The results reveal that the profile tolerance and mechanical properties as well as microstructure of the TC11 Ti alloy blade with isothermal adjustment before solution plus aging treatment are greatly superior to those of ones with isothermal adjustment after solution plus aging treatment.Desirable microstructure and mechanical properties of the TC11 Ti alloy blade with isothermal adjustment before solution treatment
which exhibits uniform microstructural distribution and clean metallic line profile
can be obtained with adjusting pressure of 3 MPa for 3 min at 860 ℃ and at strain rate of 10-2 s-1.
