On-line Preparation Technology for Semi-solid Slurry of Aluminum Alloy Based on LSPSF (Low Shearing Pouring Semi-solid Forming) Method
Effects of different pouring temperature and rotating velocity of rotating duct on microstructure of A356 aluminum alloy semi-solid slurry were observed based on the self-developed LSPSF technology. It is concluded that the desirable semi-solid slurry with spheroidized structure can be prepared successfully with rotating duct tilting angle of 20°at rotating velocity of 90

50 r/min and slurry reserving container temperature of about 500 ℃ as well as pouring temperature more than (30±10) ℃ above liquidus temperature. The practical production verifies that LSPSF method has the advantages of high processing efficiency and stable performance
