Effects of Ni on the Microstructure and Properties of Heat Resistant Cast Cu-Ni-Al Alloy
Effects of Ni on the microstructure and mechanical properties of heat resistant cast Cu-Ni-Al alloy were analyzed by optical microscope

yield strength of the alloy at room temperature are increased by 25.2%

while hardness of the alloy is increased by 40% at 500 ℃.Solution strengthening effects of Ni in Cu matrix and second phase strengthening effects of Ni formed with other alloying element are responsible for the improvement of mechanical properties of the heat resistant cast Cu-Ni-Al alloy.
