Effects of Homogenization Treatment on Microstructure and High Temperature Deformation Behavior of As-cast AZ80 Magnesium Alloy
Effects of different homogenized annealing temperatures and times on microstructure of as-cast AZ80 magnesium alloy were observed by OM(optical microscope)and SEM(scanning electron microscope)
XRD(X-ray diffraction)and EDS(energy dispersive spectrum).The desirable grain size and constituent area distribution in microstructure can be obtained with homogenizing at 410℃ for 10 hours.Compressive behavior and microstructure evolution of the AZ80 magnesium alloy at high temperatures were investigated.The results show that desirable comprehensive properties of the alloy can be obtained at 300~400℃.
