Structure and property of Cu-16.9%Fe semi-solid solidification with high magnetic field
The influence of high magnetic field on structure and property of Cu-16.9%Fe by semi-solid solidification was investigated. The results under high magnetic field showed that the crystal lattices of Cu were distorted. Moreover
the morphology of Fe-rich phases became more irregular and finer. The directions of Fe-rich phases were trended to be elongated along the magnetic field. The conductivity of Cu-16.9%Fe were increased. The analysis showed it was owing to the solubility decreasing of Fe in Cu
which decreased the impurity scattering resistivity.
