The hot deformation behavior of AZ80 magnesium alloy at high temperature was investigated by cylindrical isothermal compression tests.The results indicate that flow stress of the alloy is increased with increasing in strain rate and decreasing in temperature at 200~350℃ in case of 2×10-3~1 s-1.The constitutive equation for flow stress during hot compression is deduced by linear regression analysis
which shows that the sensitivity exponent of strain rate is increased with the increase of deformation temperature.Meanwhile
value of critical strain for dynamic recrystallization is determined by the strain-stress curves based on the kinetics.The equation related to the Zener-Hollomon parameters is given too.
