Abstract
Hydraulic brake rotor for diesel locomotive
which has the features of distinct difference in wall thickness
requires the whole casting and high dimension precision
so it is very difficult to produce by investment casting.The technological process in investment casting hydraulic brake rotor was described including structure design
wax-pattern making
mold making and dewaxing
melting as well as pouring.The qualified hydraulic brake rotor was successfully produced by adopting combined supporter with the same materials for castings to prevent collapse and using low point wax as well as assembling welding wax-pattern
