Abstract

Shrinkage (hole)porosity and misrun often occur in the investment casting missile engine blade. The above mentioned defects can be eliminated by pressurized vacuum suction casting method. In addition, the technology exhibits the more obvious effects in producing complicated thin-walled aluminum alloy components and large investment castings due to its better filling capacity, greatly improving the microstructure and mechanical properties of the missile engine blade.
