CuNiSiTi electrode holder mobile bar was produced by investment casting
and effects of heat treatment on the mobile bar were investigated. The mechanical properties and microstructure of the alloy were examined and observed by the sclerometer
eddy electrical conductivity tester and universal material testing machine as well as OM (optical microscope)
meanwhile
strengthening mechanism of the alloy was described. The production verifies that electrode holder mobile bar with qualified quality can be successfully produced by designing proper gating system. The hardness

yield strength and elongation of the alloy reach 210HB
13.92MS/m
590MPa
485MPa and 11%
respectively
after solution at 920℃ for 1.5 hours ( water cooling) and at 480℃ for 3 hours (furnace cooling)
meeting the property requirements of electrode holder mobile bar.
