Peritectic reaction temperatures of Al-Ni alloys and Sn-Sb alloys were measured by DSC. With a given cooling rate
peritectic reaction temperature of Al-Ni alloys is serious delayed
while that of Sn-Sb alloys is nearly equal with equilibrium reaction temperatures
which is closely related to the structural difference of primary phase and peritectic phase. With different structure between primary phase and peritectic phase
peritectic reaction is seriously delayed
while with the same structure
the reactive temperature is identical with equilibrium temperature.
