Thermal Fatigue Analysis of Aluminum Alloy Die Casting Die for Dome of Coffee Machine
thermal stress field and thermal fatigue distribution of the mould were visualized by the Procast software simulating forming process of aluminum alloy dome of coffee machine.Two typical processing feature regions in which thermal fatigue easily appeared were selected to simulate.The T-shape gating system and comb-shape gating system were analyzed comparatively.The results show that comb-shape gating system exhibits more desirable.The experimental results verify the feasibility of the optimized design for decreasing thermal fatigue and improving service life of the mould.
