3003/4004 aluminum alloy cladding materials were produced by double-stream-pouring semi-continuous casting using a self-developed semi-continuous casting device.The composition
microstructure and mechanical properties of the prepared composites were investigated.The results show that uniform distribution of different alloy composition in interface can be observed in produced 3003/4004 aluminum alloy cladding materials
and there exists observed corresponding relation among the hardness
mechanical properties and composition distribution
microstructure
showing a higher interfacial strength.It is feasible for preparing 3003/4004 aluminum alloy cladding materials by double-streaming-pouring semi-continuous casting.
