Abstract
A composite crucible was developed for vacuum induction melting super-pure alloys by integrating the merits of low cost of fused magnesia and high stability as well as desulfurization and dephosphorization of calcareous crucible.On the basis of traditional vacuum induction melting furnace
the composite crucible can be realized by simple auxiliary tools
which can effectively decrease the cost of crucible.Impurities including oxygen
sulfur and phosphorus in the high Ni alloy can be obviously reduced with the composite crucible
