Abstract
Lost foam casting aluminum alloy parts is increasingly applied in automobile industry
such as engine cylinder
cylinder cover
manifold exhausted pipe with water cooling
valve
nozzle at abroad.However
lost foam casting aluminum alloy parts is slowly developed at home
which was attributed to complex processing
low equipment and raw and auxiliary materials resulting in casting defects.Origination of main defects in lost foam casting aluminum alloy parts and countermeasures were described.
