Abstract
There exist some shortcomings in traditional sodium silicate shell making process as a result of using NH4Cl and NH4Cl·H2O as hardener
such as heavy labor intensity
environmental pollution
and so on. A new type hardener was developed to overcome these problems. Application of the new hardener shows the improvement of operation circumstance
decreasing labor intensity and being beneficial for environmental protection as well as realization of clean casting.
