There exist three inserts on aluminum alloy bowl castings, and orientation of two inserts on the bowl wall was difficult. A practical mould structure for aluminum alloy bowl castings with three inserts was presented. A special insert orientation structure with spring was adopted in the mould, which not only met mould release of castings, but also ensured the accrualy and fixedness of the insert orientation. An ejector sleeve with more openings was adopted to shove the castings. The mould exhibits the features of compact structure, reliable operation and good forming quality as well as high product efficiency.
