    Abstract

    Casting and forging compound hot process was adopted to produce A356 aluminum alloy car steering knuckle, and product process was visualized with the help of the Adstefan and the Deform software to predict the potential defects and to optimize the processing design. The produced steering knuckle based on the compound technology was observed and its mechanical properties were tested to verify the availability of the simulated results. Finally, the advantages and feasibility of the casting and forging compound hot technology were validated.
