Effect of liquid structure on the crystallization and GFA of Cu40Zr45Al7Ag8 BMGs
Cu40Zr45Al7Ag8 bulk metallic glasses were prepared by water quenching under different overheating temperatures(930℃
1030℃). The crystallization behavior was studied by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The precipitated phases in Cu40Zr45Al7Ag8 bulk metallic glasses at different annealing temperatures with different time were analyzed by X-ray diffraction. The results show that melt overheating treatment can enhance glass-forming ability and resistance for crystallization and thermodynamic stability.
