Properties of Plasma Sprayed Tungsten Coatings on Copper Substrate
Abstract
Tungsten coating with 1 mm in thickness was prepared on the copper substrate by plasma spraying technology
which was used for nuclear fusion equipment
meanwhile
properties of plasma sprayed tungsten coatings at vacuum and at air were comparatively analyzed
such as microstructure
porosity
impurity content
bonding strength and heat flux performance. The results reveal that the difference of heat flux of coatings at vacuum and at air is mainly attributed to the difference of porosities and impurity content.
