Mathematical Modeling of Solidification Processing in Twin-roll Continuous Casting and Its Validation
solute transfer and solidification structure formation and macro-micro coupling model during solidification process in twin-roll continuous casting strip were established
in which equivalent specific heat method was employed to treat latent heat and mesh was divided by assumed streamline boundary.Meanwhile
with the help of solid fraction
taking varied mesh size and time-steps in macro-micro condition
the coupling of macro-micro model is realized.The simulated results are well in agreement with the experimental ones.
